Australian agriculture will be the big winner after the recent announcement of a partnership between Syngenta Australia and Pairtree Intelligence - an innovative agtech company at the forefront of data-driven solutions for sustainable farming.

The ground-breaking deal is part of a strategic partnership signifying Syngenta's commitment to advancing precision agriculture through investing in cutting-edge technologies.

Pairtree’s expertise in harnessing data analytics to optimise crop management, aligns seamlessly with Syngenta's mission to drive sustainable and efficient farming practices.

“By focusing on the farmer and their advisors, our investment in this partnership provides a grassroots approach to turning farm data into insight.”

Syngenta head of business development Brett Hofman.

Under this investment, Syngenta will build on previous work with Pairtree Intelligence and data-stacking integrations to enhance productivity and the environmental sustainability of agriculture.

This investment supports an existing collaborative effort to work with farmers to connect and share disparate data specific to their operation, enabling informed decisions to positively impact crop yields and resource utilisation while remaining data agnostic.

Syngenta head of business development Brett Hofman said the company is excited to foster growth in agtech.

“By focusing on the farmer and their advisors, our investment in this partnership provides a grassroots approach to turning farm data into insight.

“The combination of Syngenta's deep agricultural expertise with Pairtree's innovative data solutions, we are poised to revolutionise how farmers approach precision agriculture," Mr Hoffman said.

Pairtree Intelligence's founder and fifth-generation farmer Hamish Munro is excited by the partnership.

"It's great to continue to work with Syngenta, an outstanding organisation fully committed to supporting farmers in their journey towards operational transformation through the widespread adoption of agtech.

"This investment underscores the importance of Pairtree Pipes and data-driven solutions in modern agriculture.

“Together we will unlock new possibilities for sustainable farming practices, ultimately benefiting both growers and the environment."

Pairtree looks to support the growth of services and solutions to enable control of pests and diseases and how innovative molecules and biologicals can be introduced into the system in an optimal approach.
