Late in 2022 Datamars Livestock appointed Michael Corfield to the newly created role of national sales manager.

Mr Corfield will be based in the Datamars Livestock head office in Brisbane. This office is located at Banyo alongside the Datamars warehouse and distribution centre.

Mr Corfield joins Datamars Livestock from the engineering sector, primarily in sales and market development for Australian engineered products in the international marketplace.

Mr Corfield comes from a farming background and has experience in rural merchandise, retailing and has worked in the beef, dairy, sheep, and the live export sectors.

His focus will be managing Datamars infield sales alongside Datamars regional and territory managers. This includes regional sales managers, Craig Weinert (southern region), James Ellis (western region) and Paul Tindal (northern region) to better serve resellers Australia wide.

As he is based in the Brisbane office, Mr Corfield will also liaise with customer service and production to monitor lead times and deliveries.

He will also work alongside Datamars’ marketing team and resellers to work through a 12-month marketing plan and to keep the market updated with the brand and regional promotions.
