The conference, SPRAYPASS 2022: Advances and Challenges in Ag Spraying is to be held at the Coro Club, Griffith on October 27/28, 2022.

Primarily aimed at spray contractors, farmers, agronomists and advisors who are responsible for the safe and efficient application of ag chemicals in agriculture, horticulture, and environmental situations, the conference is being organised by the Australian Groundsprayers Association as part of SprayPASS, the voluntary industry stewardship scheme for groundspray operators and businesses.

Nationally recognized specialists will be covering the important topics of:

·      The issues, challenges and opportunities facing ag chemical users including international and domestic trade implications for on-farm ag chemical use.

·      The importance of getting spray application right.

·      Technical advances in spraying and how to match spray quality to target, chemical and situation.

·      The critical world of spray mixes, compatibilities, water rates and water quality.

·      Meteorology and weather effects on spraying.

·      New application technologies including autonomous sprayers, optical sensors and artificial intelligence.

·      The changing world of labels and legal obligations.

The Australian Groundsprayers Association is the peak industry organisation representing groundspraying operators and businesses at state and national forums.

The AGA has developed SprayPASS, as a voluntary, industry stewardship scheme to promote best practice groundspray application of ag chemicals.
