S&W Seed Company has made two new territory manager appointments covering key parts of Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania.
Chris Hoad is the new territory manager for Southern and Central Queensland.
Mr Hoad grew up on a mixed sheep/cropping farm in the NSW Riverina. After obtaining a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, he worked as an agronomist in the Western District of Victoria before relocating to Queensland.
He says he enjoys assisting farmers to optimise their productivity by providing personalised advice, tailored to their specific goals.
By leveraging his expertise and understanding of the industry, he is dedicated to helping farmers thrive and succeed.
"Combining my experience as a farmer and agronomist, I have a deep understanding of the factors that influence farm productivity. At S&W, my focus is to deliver valuable service and advice to optimise productivity and enhance profitability," he said.
Meanwhile Hannah Messner has joined S&W as territory manager for Gippsland, North East Victoria and Tasmania.
Ms Messner grew up in the NSW Central Tablelands and Riverina districts on her family’s sheep and broadacre cropping farms and services Gippsland, North East Victoria and Tasmania.
After completing school she worked as a wool classer in the Riverina while studying a Diploma of Agriculture through Tocal College. Ms Messner commenced working at S&W Seed Company in mid-2023 while completing the final semester of her Bachelor of Agricultural Science through Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga.
She has a keen interest in livestock production and is motivated to continue her learning journey while working within the S&W team.
“I am passionate about enabling my customers to meet their production goals through providing the best possible service I can in my role as territory manager. I love working alongside people and strive to give my customers the support they require to excel in their operations.”
