Seed Force General Manager, Dale Skepper is pleased to announce that David Peake has joined their team in the role of broadacre commercial manager based in Perth. 

“David is an energetic and results-driven commercial manager with a demonstrated history of success working in the Australian agriculture industry,” Mr Skepper said.  

“Specialising in broadacre technical agronomy, marketing and sales management, cereal and canola market development and sales extension. 

“He is passionate about Australian agriculture with his extensive network of growers, key advisors, and sales distribution (especially in WA). 

“David is an effective communicator with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers and this is reinforced by the way he is regarded by his peers and our customer base. 

“He's an excellent fit for the Seed Force business, joining us from BASF, most recently as their regional sales manager for the past three years, prior to that in the same organisation in a specialty seed agronomic services role.” 

Mr Peake joined BASF from Bayer when the seed portfolio was divested because of a regulatory ruling surrounding the Monsanto acquisition, prior to this divestment he had been WA market development agronomist and seeds agronomic services since 2012. 

Before his direct seed experience, Mr Peake was an agronomist with Elders, initially in Geraldton, then went on the become a senior agronomist for Elders, Moora collectively spanning 10 years of in-field agronomy and advisory. 

Mr Skepper said in this role of broadacre commercial manager, Mr Peake will form part of Seed Force’s lead team. 

“He will be responsible for the relationship management of broadacre seed partners and commercial channel partners, which will see him attend industry field days, crop walks, seminars and other networking events, develop market potential and opportunities, collaborate on crop trials, marketing positioning and engaging with our sales team and network to appreciate the value our portfolio delivers.”
