Elanco Australasia has announced a new organisational structure to streamline its sales and marketing activities in the farm animal and pet health sectors.
National sales manager – southern, Jamie Dowsley, becomes head of business unit – farm animal, while marketing director, Michael Wilson, becomes head of business unit – pet health.
Elanco Australasia General Manager, Hendrik Van der Walt, says the restructure will give the two units autonomous control of sales and marketing activities related to their business.
“This restructure aligns with our number one priority to simplify the integrated Elanco-Bayer business and streamline our decision-making processes,” he said.
“I am excited to see these two leaders grow and develop into their new roles. Jamie and Michael have enormous experience and the energy to drive the success of their respective business units.”
As part of the restructure, Central West NSW territory manager, Andrew Brewer, has been appointed regional sales manager – north.
Mr Brewer joined Bayer in 2018 as a territory manager after seven years as branch manager of AGnVET Services in Warren.
The northern sales team comprises, Bruce Smith (Northern Qld and NT), Siobhan Smith (Central Qld), Lachlan McLeish (Southern Qld), Mark Elliott (New England), Simon Lakin (feedlot and pastoral) and the replacement for Mr Brewer’s former territory in Central West NSW.
Key account manager, Mark McLennan has been appointed regional sales manager – south.
The southern sales team comprises, David Rathbone (Southern NSW), Will King (Northern Victoria/Riverina), Jordan Reid (Gippsland/Tasmania), Luke Drechsler (Western Victoria), Colin Andrews (South-east SA/South-west Victoria), Wayne Clonan (Northern SA), David Howey (Southern WA), and Paul Dugan (Northern WA).
Former national sales manager – Northern, Brett Hall, becomes national account manager and will be the key contact for Elanco’s distribution partners while supervising Elanco’s intensive team consisting of Ben Parker (dairy and swine) and Lynell Fisher (poultry and feed mill).
Bringing extensive experience and marketing expertise, senior brand manager – sheep, Dr Kathryn Humphries, brand manager – beef, Kim Krilich; and senior brand manager – intensive livestock, Ingrid Gray, will also join the farm animal business unit.
