Nitro Ag, the Australian distributor of Belgian manufactured Nitrophoska fertilisers, is launching a strategy to develop a full range of water-soluble specialty fertilisers to support the Nitrophoska Special, which is already on offer.

In recent years Nitrophoska Special was absent from the Australian market, but it reappeared at the end of 2024 when Nitro Ag started importing in 1200kg bulk bags.

From next month Nitro Ag will also offer Nitrophoska Special in 25kg bags – a size the company’s Bill Terry says is ideal for the many farmers who do not have sufficient scale to justify the large bulk bags.

Nitrophoska Special is just one of the complex NPK fertilisers available in the Nitrophoska range.

In the coming months Nitro Ag will work to develop the range of Nitrophoska fertilisers, so more of these high-quality products will be available to Australian rural resellers and their customers.

In keeping with Nitro Ag’s plans to expand the product range, the company will also offer a full range of water-soluble specialty fertilisers.

The first of these products is being offered to rural resellers this month, with the introduction of Nitro Ag K-Nite (soluble potassium nitrate), NitroMKP (mono potassium phosphate) and NitroSOP (soluble potassium sulphate).

Looking ahead the company says more products – including such as Nitro Ag Cal-Nite (soluble Calcium Nitrate), NitroMgS (Magnesium Sulphate) and NitroMAP (Soluble Mono Ammonium Phosphate) – will also be added to the range, along with water soluble NPKs.

Used by farmers around the world over for more than 90 years, Nitrophoska is the original complex fertiliser with all nutrients readily available in one granule, ensuring balanced nutrition.

This premium quality fertiliser will be supported by the Nitro Ag range of premium water-soluble fertilisers, aimed at providing customers with a complete specialty fertiliser offering.
