Technical sales specialist for north Queensland and Northern Territory 

Mick O’Grady comes from a family farming background and transformed his knowledge and experience into a long-term career in agriculture after gaining more than 25 years experience across the northern Australian cattle industry.

With diplomas in agriculture, agribusiness management, leadership and business, Mr O’Grady is a business professional with a strong passion for Australian agriculture and food production, and he also enjoys helping others.

Over the years, Mr O’Grady has committed to building long standing client relationships and fostering community engagement through supporting local events and community service.

At the core, is his drive to support educational advancements within agriculture and he aims to sustain the legacy of rural communities.

Mr O’Grady has held a senior leadership role and branch managerial position, managing a vital link between farmers and the products they require, travelling regularly throughout northern Australia.

Transitioning into his new role, Mr O’Grady says he aims to bring a fresh perspective and extensive experience across north Queensland and Northern Territory, and to contribute positive outcomes with Key industry stakeholders. 

“I am looking forward to embarking on this exciting new challenge and wonderful opportunity,” he said.

Ms Green comes from an agricultural background with experience on farm and in agribusiness. She has been a strong advocate for primary producers in her varying roles across the not-for-profit sector and she is extremely passionate about keeping agriculture sustainable, productive and prosperous.

Her experience across several industry sectors, combined with her compassion and drive to make life better for producers, has seen her excel in roles with Farm Angels and more recently as chair of Women in Cotton where, alongside the committee, she champions sustainability in rural and regional communities.

Ms Green believes the heart of the industry is healthy community life, which has seen her volunteer and contribute to her local sporting clubs as well as community events.

“I am excited to be the working with Granular Products in this role and I am looking forward to meeting and assisting producers to keep their businesses sustainable and at the highest productivity,” she adds.
