Mitch Allen has moved from Nufarm’s field research and development team into the position of commercial technical lead, Australia.
In this role, Mitch will enable a great customer experience by driving the technical support and advice element of the customer value proposition for Nufarm Australia.

Mitch joined Nufarm in 2012 and played a hands-on role in the development and positioning of major new products, including Crucial, Dropzone, Terrad’or and CanDo.
Mitch will use his unique insights and experience to continue collaborating with Nufarm’s portfolio solutions team to support the introduction of Nufarm’s next blockbuster products.
Mitch will work closely with the product managers to help shape the product strategies and will also join the campaign teams, as well as collaborating with the sales team to develop technical capabilities and empower great customer interactions.

Mark Slatter has taken on the newly created role of field R&D innovation director Australia within Nufarm’s portfolio solutions team.
For the past eight years, Mark led Nufarm’s field R&D team to work on cross functional projects that developed key products in their current portfolio such as Terrad’or, Crucial, Dropzone, CanDo, Terrain Flow and Intervene.
In preparing for the next phase of its pipeline, Nufarm identified a need for this dedicated role to focus on leading the significant field development phases of future products, along with supporting the company’s global pre-development team.
This change will also create new opportunities for its senior field R&D specialists, who will lead the national field development of other new products and major label extensions, along with supporting the commercial team with launch excellence activities.

Nufarm’s field R&D specialists will continue to deliver high quality trials in their regions and have opportunities to develop their national field development expertise, along with supporting the commercial team with launch excellence activities with Mark taking on this new role, David Rumbold, Nufarm Australia’s portfolio solutions lead will now take on management of the Australian field R&D team.

Reannan Schultz has moved into another newly created role of field R&D specialist (Victoria). For the past two years Reannan has been Nufarm’s business development manager for central Queensland and a valued member of the northern team.
Reannan’s new role will focus on broadacre, where she will work closely with the rest of Nufarm’s portfolio solutions team on developing future products and her experience as a BDM, and agronomist with Elders before that, will be invaluable in Nufarm’s ongoing growth.

Leo Boden was Nufarm’s commercial graduate for2024 and benefited from spending quality time with multiple national and international team building his knowledge on how each team supports Nufarm's customer value proposition. Leo's graduate journey has come to an end, and he has taken the position of business development manager in central Queensland and South Burnett, where he can implement all the learnings from the past 12 months.
