Engineering and advanced manufacturing agricultural machinery manufacturer, BOSS Engineering has announced the appointment of AGCO managing director James Haarhoff as chief executive officer of the Inverell based firm.
BOSS recently announced an investment partnership with leading mid-market Private Equity shop, Alceon Private Equity, which marked the first institutional capital investment into the company, which will underpin the next stage of its growth strategy.
Mr Haarhoff’s hire as CEO comes on the back of the July appointment of John Lehman as chief financial officer for BOSS. Previously Mr Lehman was CFO of Hustler Equipment in New Zealand.
Mr Haarhoff has been selected to drive the next stage of the BOSS growth strategy, based on his more than 20 years of experience and success in the agricultural manufacturing sector and will take up his position in October.
He joins BOSS following 12 years with American agricultural machinery manufacturer AGCO, most recently as its Australian, New Zealand and South East Asia managing director.
