National Agriculture Day is the day the nation collectively tips its hat to farmers across the country in celebration.
Every day when you eat your breakfast, your lunch or your dinner, you can thank our Aussie farmers, throw on a woollen jumper thank our Aussie farmers, a drink of wine after a hard days work, thank our Aussie farmers.
National Farmers’ Federation President David Jochinke said it doesn’t matter if you’re in a high rise or a header, National Ag day is a day to come together to celebrate nations incredible variety of food and fibre.
“It’s a day for farmers and people in agriculture to showcase what they do and to start conversations with kids and the wider community about what they do.
“But it’s also a day for all Australians to engage with the farming world, to learn more, and celebrate our farmers the incredible food and fibre they grow.
Agriculture underpins the wealth of our rural communities and is a significant driver of the nations economy.
Australian farmers are the envy of the world.
With their longstanding reputation for producing clean green food and fibre -from dairy to rice, crops, livestock, horticulture wool and wine, lets celebrate our farmer not just on National Agriculture Day but everyday!
