What better way to mark National Ag Day for Nutrien Ag Solutions Moree, which has been recognised for its performance and contribution to the agriculture industry at last month’s Nutrien Ag Solutions Gala Dinner and Awards night.

The local business was named the 2022 Nutrien Ag Solutions Branch of the Year.

“This is an amazing honour, and certainly couldn’t have occurred without the strong team, both here in Moree and our greater Nutrien network,” said branch manager Sam Collier.

“This year has certainly thrown up a few curve balls, but the resilience of our growers, new and old has shone through. We are looking forward to building into 2023 and continuing to develop the Moree branch,” he said.

Nutrien Ag Solutions north east regional manager Robert Payne said the Moree store is a very worthy recipient of this award.

“In the past twelve months Nutrien Moree has excelled. The team has delivered exceptional growth. The branch has also faced some significant headwinds with recent flooding throughout town.

“However, the team continues to rise to the challenge and no doubt will continue to outperform between now and year-end as well as into 2023. In the recent flooding event, the branch helped many businesses sandbag throughout the town and received some widespread recognition for doing so, as they should,” Mr Payne said.

Yarrawonga store wins National CRT award

Murray Valley Rural Services has also been recognised for its performance and contribution to the agriculture industry at the recent Nutrien Ag Solutions and CRT Gala Dinner and Awards night.

The local Yarrawonga was awarded the 2022 CRT South East Business of the Year and the 2022 CRT National Business of the Year.

“This is a team effort,” said store owner Graeme McInness. “We have an outstanding group of passionate, knowledgeable and experienced professionals who all contribute to the success of our customers. We have a great relationship with our clients and wish them all the best for the rest of the season.”

Nutrien Ag Solutions general manager members, franchises, affiliates and independents, Greg O’Neil, said Murray Valley Rural Services is a valued member of the CRT network.

“Graeme and Megan McInness and the rest of the team are always looking to improve their overall offering for customers. They have an outstanding agronomy service and are always going out of their way to support the individual needs of their customers.

“Congratulations to Murray Valley Rural Services – a very worthy recipient of this award,” Mr O’Neil said.

CRT Retail Award winners:

Congratulations also go to the 12 businesses who have been recognised for their high performance and achievements in 2022 at the Nutrien Ag Solutions and CRT gala dinner and awards night.

Nutrien Ag Solutions managing director Kelly Freeman said the awards were not only an opportunity to recognise the performance and success of retail stores, but to acknowledge the commitment from each member of the Nutrien network.

“We’ve made remarkable progress in 2022 and are set up for success in 2023. Everyone at this event has an essential role to play in feeding a growing, global population.

“I’m certain we will continue to work together to overcome the key challenges in front of us and capitalise on our unique opportunities to deliver for many years to come.”
