Koch Fertiliser Australia (KFAus) is excited to announce a new commercial team member to grow and better support its Victorian footprint in line with the company’s core vision to better align with customers’ requirements.
The company has recently appointed Brent Lehmann as marketer for the southern and western Victorian regions.
Mr Lehmann comes from a background in finance business partnering, where for many years he worked alongside key internal customers, including Deakin University and the Geelong Cats, to help them successfully run their respective areas of business and strategically plan their future operations.
After growing up on the family farm at Birchip in the Mallee region of Victoria, Mr Lehmann has been eying off a return to the agricultural industry for some time.
“I am very pleased to have Brent join Koch Fertiliser Australia. His appointment adds another level of capability to our already very strong sales team,” said KFAus managing director Ross York. “Brent’s knowledge of farming systems backed with an extremely solid finance grounding will be a real asset to our business.”
He is keen to combine his love of agriculture with his business and relationship building skills developed over the years. Mr Lehmann gets back to the family farm as often as he can and regularly helps during harvest, working alongside his brother and parents.
Mr Lehmann has completed a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University and went on to complete his CPA certification.
Away from work, Mr Lehmann is busy raising a young family with his wife, loves AFL and also represents Australia in a relatively unknown but growing sport – Fistball.
Mr Lehmann will report to KFAus’ key account manager Simon Baum and will work closely with the other KFAus marketers.
