Living up to the legacy of innovation and commitment to helping Australian farmers, Gallagher is launching two new i Series electric fencing products to further enable farmers in remote, off-grid locations to fence further and more efficiently.

The MBS6500i Multi Powered i Series Energizer is the largest off-grid capable energizer on the market, providing reliable, year-round power that can be monitored and controlled with the click of a button.

Farmers have the option to power their fence with mains, mains with battery backup, battery, or solar power.

This flexibility allows farmers to power remote fences that aren’t located near mains power, as well as installing backup power to ensure ongoing protection during periods of low sunlight or power outages.

As the largest member of the multi-powered i Series lineup, the MBS6500i has all the smarts of the i Series Energizer system.

This includes providing real-time information about fence performance and instant alerts of fence faults, which are displayed on a convenient LCD screen, or delivered straight to the phone, via the Gallagher Ag Devices App and i Series App Gateway with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or using an i Series Satellite Gateway, offering connectivity in even the most remote locations.

The i Series Satellite Gateway enables remote communication between the i Series Energizer and the Gallagher Ag Devices App. Where previously communication from the i Series Energizers relied on a cellular hotspot connection, the introduction of satellite ensures farmers are protected from the offboarding of 3G and can receive alerts on any fence faults no matter how remote the fence is located.

Compatible both with all i Series Energizers, the Satellite Gateway is easy to install and maintains operation for up to 6 hours of connectivity through a power outage, notifying farmers when a power cut impacts the Energizer.

Capable of viewing up to 24 hours of fence voltage history, current fence performance can be compared with historical data to monitor trends or changes over time.
