Freshcare has thanked and acknowledged two retiring long-serving board members in Gail Woods and Graham McAlpine.
During the past eight years Gail and Graham have contributed their industry knowledge, skills and expertise to developing not only Freshcare’s globally recognised standards, but also supporting the organisational vision to become an industry leader of certification.
Freshcare Chair Allan Dall said both directors have delivered an immeasurable contribution to the organisation and future of assurance for Australian producers.
“Both Graham and Gail are long-serving contributors to industry, and they’ve brought a wealth of experience to the Freshcare Board. Their contribution to developing the strategic direction of Freshcare has been highly valued,” Allan added.
“Instrumental in establishing the strategic direction of the organisation, Graham and Gail have enabled Freshcare to achieve its Vision 2030 goals of engaged communities, sustainable futures and ensuring our standards are always underpinned by leading science and technology, with a strong focus on excellence in governance.
“We’re extremely grateful for the time they’ve contributed to the betterment of industry.
“While we are sad they’re leaving, we look forward to the start of new directors and their contribution to the future of assurance for horticulture, wine and supply chain industries.”
