Central West New South Wales based rural products store Coonabarabran Rural Supplies has today joined the Elders network.

The business was established in Baradine by Bruce Henley in 1989, after successfully running the Baradine store, Bruce opened Coonabarabran in 2002. In 2020, a third store was opened in Binnaway which will remain with the Henley family and become an AIRR member.

Mr Henley, and his son Ted Henley, along with their six employees, will continue to work within the existing Coonabarabran and Baradine Rural Supplies stores to support the transition and ensure clients continue to receive the high level of customer service they have become accustomed to.

Mr Henley has said “by selling to Elders, we will be able to ensure that our clients have the best possible supply relationship in the agricultural industry. Both myself and Ted are committed to working closely with the team at Elders to make the transition as seamless as possible”.

State General Manager – NSW, Ryan Robinson, says the purchase of Coonabarabran Rural Supplies will improve Elders’ presence in the area and help the company to better service new and existing clients.

“We are delighted to welcome the Coonabarabran and Baradine Rural Supplies business into our team,” he said.

“The Henley family have built a strong reputation throughout central west NSW over a period of many years, and we are pleased to be able to continue and improve on this service through the backing of Elders’ national network.”
