Australian Seed Federation (ASF) chief executive Katherine Delbridge has been appointed to the board of the International Seed Federation (ISF).
The ISF, a global organisation dedicated to promoting the interests of the seed industry, brings together seed associations and companies from around the world to address international seed trade issues, intellectual property rights, and the advancement of plant breeding.
Ms Delbridge’s appointment marks a significant achievement for the Australian seed industry, highlighting its growing impact and contributions on the global stage.
“This role presents a tremendous opportunity to collaborate with international leaders in the seed industry, and to advocate for the interests and advancements of our sector,” Ms Delbridge said.
“I look forward to working alongside ISF president Arthur Santosh Attavar and other colleagues to further the mission of the ISF and support the global seed community."
ASF president Rowena Petrie said Ms Delbridge’s appointment is a testament to her dedication, enthusiasm and vision for our industry.
“Her representation on the ISF Board will ensure the perspectives and needs of all National Seed Associations are well-represented at the global level,” she said.
