Corteva Agriscience will integrate Stoller Australia into its domestic operation to scale and strengthen the development of sustainably focused solutions for Australian growers.

Corteva Agriscience will integrate Stoller Australia into its domestic operation to scale and strengthen the development of sustainably focused solutions for Australian growers.

The announcement follows the completion in 2023 of a global acquisition of Stoller, a leader in biologicals and plant physiology.

Stoller Australia’s excellence in innovation and service complements the vision of Corteva Biologicals, a range of products launched in Australia this year spearheaded by the unique biostimulant, Utrisha.

Corteva Agriscience country leader Ian Corr said fully integrating the Stoller Australia business would help drive further gains for growers looking to boost farm performance, build resilience and protect their crop’s potential.

“Stoller has built a reputation for technical excellence and sharing knowledge on plant physiology and nutrition with the channel and farmers,” Mr Corr said.

“Fully integrating will bring those capabilities to Corteva’s significant research and development capacity and strengthen our ability to develop and validate solutions focused on helping growers address the increasing pressures from a changing environment and increased market expectations,” Mr Corr said.

“This is an ideal union of agility with size, and potential with reach, grounded with a firm focus on making the biggest impact for Australian growers.”

Mr Corr said customers would notice a gradual change in branding in the coming months as the integration is implemented, however availability of products would continue.

“Growers will continue to have access to a suite of products they know and trust, and continue to get the products, technical support, and service they expect from the brand,” he said.

“In addition, our combined pipeline contains an exciting lineup of product concepts that are well positioned to address emerging grower and industry needs.”

Stoller Australia Managing Director David Cavallaro said the integration sets a platform to expand and accelerate Corteva Biologicals.

“The market is constantly evolving, growers’ challenges are increasing, but we know demand for products and solutions that enhance on-farm performance and sustainability will continue to grow,” Mr Cavallaro said.

“Bringing the Stoller platform into the Corteva business will give us a greater footprint and scale to meet growers needs.”

“An added benefit is that we will be able to provide value to growers and our business partners through more holistic solutions, from biological plant nutrition to crop protection.”
